Edo period (1615-1868), ink and colors on silk, a vast seaside landscape scene of fishermen returning to shore, villages are seen in the background, great detail paid to figures on the shore, inscribed to lower left corner together with two red artist seals, another red seal to lower right hand side, presented laid to board.

22 3/4 x 46 3/4 in.

Silk has been laid on later pressed board, several scratches and abrasions to image, some kicking and loss to edges of board and silk, allover toning.
