Three (3) Celtic Scyphate Imitations of Macedonian Tetradrachms

To include: a "Saddle-Head" form with simplified designs (holed and lacquered); a heavily worn coin with crude types of Philip II; a third coin with a schematic head and Zeus and a horse with rider (some pitting). All three coins in fair condition only.

All coins being offered are from a scholarly numismatic cabinet that was one
collector's passion for over twenty years. Starting the collection around 1990, he went on to amass over 2,000 coins representing many of the ancient cultures that flourished from Britain to India. Every coin from this collection is fully attributed in manuscript on its own unique 2x2 envelope.
