The Daisy Legacy .22 bolt-action rifles were introduced in the early 1980s as part of Daisy's attempt to diversify beyond airguns into the firearm market. Known for their simplicity, affordability, and reliability, these single-shot rifles were designed primarily for beginners and youth shooters. The rifles featured a straightforward bolt-action mechanism, durable construction, and safety features that made them suitable for training and small game hunting. However, Daisy's venture into firearms was short-lived, and the Legacy .22 rifles were discontinued by the late 1980s as the company refocused on its core airgun products. Today, these rifles are considered collector's items for enthusiasts of Daisy's history.

Both rifles in overall very good estate condition, each having small amounts of finish wear on receivers from age and use, damaged plastic screw slots present in buttstock, some paint wear to a few scattered edges.
