Matching serial number of 3965 present on water table, barrel, trigger guard and forend iron, 26 1/16 in. fluid steel barrels marked CHARLES HELLIS & SONS LTD. 121 & 123 EDGWARE RD. HYDE PARK LONDON W., single front bead, ejectors, nitro proof to 1 1/8 oz., action rose and scroll engraving throughout, strong color casing present, actions sides are marked C. HELLIS & SONS LTD., double trigger, attractively figured walnut stock with drop points and checkering with mullered borders, 1/4 in. spacer with 1 in. KICK-EEZ rubber recoil pad.

Overall good estate condition, barrels have light surfaces scratches and worn bluing with minor external pitting on right barrel at muzzle, minor field marks in stock finish, shiny bores, barrels ring with clear church bell tone.
