Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, ink and pigments on paper, includes two hanging scrolls, now presented in frames, the male and female sitters are very finely painted dressed in winter court attire, the gentleman wears a court robe bearing a first civil rank badge with white crane, great detail is paid to their faces and accessories, gold leaf paper is featured above, paintings on a white paper mount, presented in black large rim frames with gilt interior border.
