Qing dynasty (1644-1912), circa 1900 or earlier, appear to be huanghuali, with serpentine rectangular splat flanked by curved rounded stiles above a rectangular seat inset with cane, on molded shaped legs joined by box stretchers.
44 1/2 x 19 1/4 x 17 in., Seat heigh 18 in.
Very fine construction with tight through tenon joinery and curved shaped backs; wear with some loss to cane on seat; shrinkage crack to each crest rail.
