Edo period (1615-1868), includes four tea caddies (chaire), the first, 18th century, stoneware, Tanba ware with iron glaze, with ivory lid (3 1/16 in., 3 15/16 in. diameter)(with cracks to ivory lid), the second, 18th or 19th century, stoneware with Seto ware (2 7/16 in., diameter 2 3/4 in.)(good estate condition), the third, 18th or 19th century, stoneware, Seto ware, with tea stained ivory lid (2 1/4 in., 2 15/16 in. diameter)(good estate condition), the fourth, 18th or 19th century, stoneware, Seto ware, with ivory lid (2 3/8, 2 11/16 in. diameter)(good estate condition).
