Edo period (1615-1868), 19th century, includes a tea bowl (chawan), stoneware, painted with figures and an elephant in polychrome overglaze (3 in., 5 in. diameter)(good estate condition) and a waste water bowl (kensui), stoneware with faux bois pattern in red (2 1/2 in., 5 3/4 in. diameter)(hairlines to rim).
