Edo period (1615-1868), includes three tea caddies (chaire), the first, late 18th century, stoneware, with deep blue and cream white glaze, with ivory lid (2 3/4 in., 2 in. diameter)(good estate condition), the second, 19th century, stoneware, Tanba ware, with tea stained ivory lid (3 1/8 in., 2 7/8 in. diameter)(good estate condition), the third, 18th or 19th century, stoneware, Tenmoku glaze, with ivory lid (3 5/8 in., 2 3/8 in. diameter)(repair to rim).
