Includes three tea caddies (chaire), the first, 18th or 19th century, stoneware, Seto ware, body with small loops at shoulders, with ivory lid (3 3/4 in., 2 1/8 in. diameter)(good estate condition), the second, 19th century, stoneware, Seto ware, with ivory lid, with inscribed wooden box (tomobako) (3 1/4 in., 3 3/8 in. diameter)(with a few minor nicks to foot rim), and the third, 20th century, stoneware, Takatori or Zeze ware, oblong shape, with ivory lid (6 3/8 in., 1 3/4 in. diameter)(repair to ivory lid).
