The first a teaspoon with mark of the first a teaspoon with mark of John Gill (New Bern, b. 1798), without monogram (5 1/4 in.); the second a master butter spreader with retailer mark of Brown & Anderson who active in Wilmington, circa 1850-1871, with the accompanying mark of T. E. & Co. (7 1/8 in.).
