Renowned for its accuracy and rugged design, the 03-A3 served extensively in both combat and training roles. After the war, many were sold as surplus and became popular for hunting and target shooting.

Overall fair estate condition, original action patina, barrel shows evidence of cold bluing, faint markings on barrel near receiver, strong arsenal mark behind screwed on front military style sight, rear side mount scope base, adjustable position forward sling mount, no rear sling mount present, bottom metal is not original to the gun and shows evidence of somewhat recent bluing with a much higher sheen than the rest of the gun, damaged screw slots present, custom sporterized stock.
