Introduced in 1897, the Model 97 became one of the most iconic shotguns in American history. Known for its solid construction, smooth action, and reliability, the Model 97 was widely used for hunting, law enforcement, and military purposes. The 16 gauge variant, with its balance of power and light weight, was popular among hunters for upland bird hunting.
Overall poor estate condition, uniform surface rust throughout, bore is uniformly pitted, decent wood with cracks from buttplate forward, action does operate correctly.
