Bader" present on top of matted barrel, no visible serial number (NVS), caliber unconfirmed, 28 3/8 in. octagon barrel, dovetail front and rear sights, color case hardened action, manual safety, cocking indicator, under-lever breaching mechanism, double set trigger, steel buttplate, sling swivels, checkered walnut stock and forend with Prince of Wales wrist.

Overall very good estate condition, barrel bluing in very good condition with minor blemishes, bore rifling is sharp and clean, full maker inscription on top of barrel obscured by drilled and tapped scope mount holes, initials of "D.R.G.M." present on top of action indicating Deutsches Reichs Gebrauchs-Muster (German utility or design patents 1891-1945), depression in action immediately behind breach, action retains some color cased appearance, straight grained walnut stock and forend in good condition with scattered natural cracking from climate changes, crack along left side forend and depressions throughout, small splinter missing from right side of stock cheek, stock and forend checkering remains sharp with mullered borders.
