From the Personal Collection of Mr. Kroghie Andresen Charlotte, North Carolina Midgett enjoyed shorebird hunting with his friend and brother-in-law John Allen Midgett, Sr. Depending upon weather and rainfall conditions, they would either hunt near the ocean or the marshes near where Pea Island Refuge is today.
Combination of original and in-use paint with moderate gunning wear, hit by shot, oxidation to iron elements.
