Each a fiddle tipt spoon with pointed fins and a uniform bright cut "P" monogram to the handle.

William P. Poindexter was born in Lexington, Kentucky in 1792 and died there in 1869. He was active there from 1820 to 1859. He maintained a partner with his son, William A. Poindexter from 1838 to 1839, and his son was independently active in Lexington from 1838 to 1859. Either of these Silversmiths likely forged this lot.
