Purchased from Neal Conoley in 1986. Neal Conoley collected it direct from Ambrose "Hambone" Twiford.

A special rig of six over-sized pintails were made by Ned Burgess for Hambone Twiford to hunt over. There were four drakes and two hens. Burgess mentored Twiford and took exceptional care in making this masterwork for his young friend.
