1923 NC Fishing License with Five Vintage Fishing Lures

North Carolina, circa 1932, round metal pin marked FISHING LICENSE / 1932 / N.C. with NC state seal / $2.10 / State Resident / 9429, includes a variety of five (5) lures mounted on fabric backboard inside wooden shadow box with glass front.

In the late 1920s, North Carolina introduced pinback button-style fishing licenses, marking a shift from paper permits to durable, wearable badges. These celluloid buttons, approximately 1.75 inches in diameter, featured the year, license type, and often the state seal, allowing for easy identification by game wardens.
