A protégé of the renowned Madison Mitchell, Jobes created thousands of working and decorative decoys, earning widespread respect for his craftsmanship and dedication to the Chesapeake Bay carving tradition. This is an example of his hand chopped variety.
Original paint, oxidation to the painted surfaces, hen has a chip under the bill.
