famille rose ginger jar with elegant ladies at leisure in a lush garden to one side, the reverse side with calligraphy in black ink (jar size 11 in.); the smaller, a
famille verte jar with double phoenixes surrounded by large peony and floral blooms (jar size 9 in.); both presented with carved wood bases and uniform metal finials with Chinese character for luck in low relief, together with fabric lampshades.
