20th century, a large rectangular porcelain plaque hand painted in famille rose palette with an expansive scene of elegant court ladies engaged in leisure scholarly pursuits, inscription to the upper left corner with three red seals, presented in a shaped rosewood frame with ruyi cloud shaped hangers.
