From the Collection of a Gentleman Greensboro, North Carolina The Stevens Decoy Factory, based in Weedsport, New York, was a prominent decoy-making enterprise during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Founded by George W. Stevens, the factory operated at the heart of the Finger Lakes region, an area rich in waterfowl hunting tradition. Stevens and his craftsmen produced a wide range of working duck decoys, catering primarily to hunters and sportsmen of the Northeast.
