The Perdews (wife, Edna) produced thousands of decoys, originally intended for hunters to attract ducks, geese, and crows. Over time, their work gained recognition for its artistic value and is now highly sought after by collectors. Their original home and workshop in Henry, Illinois, have been preserved as the Charles Perdew Museum, dedicated to showcasing their contributions to the Illinois River decoy tradition.

Combination of original paint and old gunning paint with moderate wear.
