A Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Sweetmeat Set in Fitted Lacquer Box

Late 19th or early 20th century, includes six porcelain dishes with floral and bird ornament and gilt edges, surrounding one square porcelain dish all hand painted in Famille Rose pattern inside a fitted circular lacquer box with gilt decoration, box is raised on three arched legs, also include lace doily with butterfly decoration to go underneath central dish; all dishes marked "Made in China" to underside.

Consistent flaking to lacquer on box, minor gilt rubbing and stains to dishes.
