A Japanese Blue and White Porcelain Garden Birdbath

Meiji period (1868-1912), a porcelain hexagonal base with large dish at top affixed with a later Chinese zodiac figure, a marriage of Japanese and Chinese porcelain objects, the base and dish have been hand painted in underglaze blue with elegant birds and flowers.
