Circa 1940s, Pflueger Capitol 1989 reel features bakelite side plates, chromed brass frame and spool, stainless steel hardware with hard rubber handle and stainless steel reel foot, side plate marked PFLUEGER / CAPITOL / TRADE MARK / NO - 1989 / MADE IN U.S.A., unmarked rod with wooden forend and buttend with hard rubber fighting butt and 7 in. Boone Needlefish lure.

In-house shipping is available for one-piece fishing rods and fishing rod and reel combinations. Winning bid invoices must be settled prior to organizing shipping. Shipments will carry full insurance with an adult signature required. Packaging cost is $50 per box, in addition to UPS shipping and insurance rates.

Overall fair estate condition, rod has loose forend and buttend with moderate bend in the forend with some loss of finish and wear, metal materials have saltwater corrosion and wear from age and use, reel is in working condition with age and wear from saltwater use, lure has finish flaking.
