A Japanese Shibuichi Box with Mixed Metal Inlaid Rooster

Meiji period (1868-1912), the cover and exterior sides are crafted in gradated shibuichi, the cover with very fine inlay decoration of an elegant rooster perched atop of a branch of plum blossoms, signed with three characters to lower right corner, silver mounts, rosewood interior, with jungin pure silver mark to the foot rim.
