Meiji period (1868-1912), includes two small vases, the first decorated with an autumn maple tree in center, reserved on a black ground, the neck and foot with a band of circles, the underside with the artist's mark for Gondo Hirosuke, and the second decorated with a cherry blossom tree to the center, reserved on a black ground, the neck and foot with a band of circles filled with red, the underside with the artist's mark for Ota Toshiro.
Tallest 3 3/4 in.
Private Collection, New York and London Overall very good condition; the tallest with a few scratches just below the mouth rim.
