Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, includes two tall floor vases, the first celadon ground and hand painted with blue and white enamels with Buddhist and auspicious treasure motifs and roundels with textile designs, the second porcelain hand painted in underglaze blue with double happiness symbols, a popular wedding motif in China, against a scrolling peony vine ground, along the neck is a thick border of bamboo and flowers, above are more double happiness symbols, around the rim is a key border, both vases have necks flanked with double foo lion faux handles.
