A Chinese Bronze Gui Censer with Reticulated Wooden Cover

Wide circular bronze body flanked with dragon head handles, body cast with abstract taotie faces to center surrounded by shaped key relief all against a scrolling key motif ground, raised on a high foot with key motif and flanges, wooden cover that has four carved reticulated ruyi motifs, a carved white hardstone finial with bats and coin surmounts the cover, together with a stand.

Good estate condition; some wear to edges; some verdigris and wear especially to interior; probably a professional repair to side and interior; wooden cover with an area of weakness and wear to one small area of rim.
