Overall very good estate condition, barrel bluing in very good condition with few light scattered blemishes, some damage to right and left top edges of top rib at 6 in. from breach, blemishes on underside of barrel from forend contact, bores are shiny, barrels ring with clear church bell tone, barrel to action fit is tight, coined engraved action is crisp and clean with no diminishment, bluing on trigger guard, top lever, lockplate key have slight wear, stock and forend finish is a healthy satin sheen, drop points slightly worn, checkering is sharp and clean with two small areas of build-up, buttplate checkering is sharp and clean.
