Overall very good estate condition, barrel bluing is strong with solder lines showing along sides of ribs, evidence of prior well performed short rib and forend loop repair, barrel originally possessed forward sling swivel which has been removed and filled, bores are shiny, barrels ring with muted tone, barrel to action fit is tight, color casing colors are strong throughout, rose and scroll engraving is very crisp and undiminished, stock and forend checkering is a very fine line per inch, drop points remain sharp, stock finish is healthy with scattered field marks, stock oval is not engraved, leather covered pad is in good condition and leather remains supple.

Case: overall excellent estate condition, green canvas covering is slightly dusty, red velvet interior and maker label are unblemished.
