Overall excellent estate condition, barrel bluing is strong with engraved breaches and engraved dolls head rib extension, bores are bright and shiny, barrel rings with clear church bell tone, barrel to action fit is tight, action is scalloped and engraved with bird scenes present left and right side of action along with WESTLEY RICHARDS, color casing colors are in nearly original condition, bottom plate is engraved with a stag and blued, top lever is blued with text above reading WESTLEY RICHARDS PATENT ONE TRIGGER, top lever and trigger guard bluing is strong, trigger guard engraved with dog scene, light screw slot damage, bottom plate detaches and reattaches perfectly for access to gold washed drop lock mechanisms, checkered walnut splinter forend, figured straight grip walnut stock, stock oval is not engraved, recoil pad is overly firm.

Case: overall very good estate condition, leather exterior has a dark brown burnished leather with corner and edge wear and one section of leather lifting away from the oak as like a bubble, a single letter H is present on the lid, lighter green felt interior is overall in good condition with small scattered sections of leather missing in places, the factory maker label is well affixed and intact, lock work does function as designed, no keys are present, three piece brass cleaning rod with jag and brushes, brass snap caps, silver oil bottle, and two leather straps are present.
