Gun #1 of the pair: Overall very good estate condition, barrel bluing is strong, few scattered small blemishes present, shallow old exterior pitting underneath forend, bores are shiny, barrel rings with clear church bell tone, barrel to action fit is tight, engraving remains clean and undiminished, hints of color case colors remain on action behind the fences and under the top lever, colors are as factory new on the forend iron interior surfaces, trigger guard and top lever bluing remains strong, very slight screw slot damage, figured and checkered walnut stock with pronounced drop points possesses a healthy finish with scattered light field marks, checkering is clean, crisp, and very tactile, aftermarket recoil pad professionally fit and shaped.
