Overall very good estate condition, beautifully browned damascus barrel, bores are clean and shiny, barrels ring slightly muted church bell tone, barrel to action fit is tight, engraving remains clear and legible, some nitre bluing of lock plate and frame pins and forend tip, bluing of underlever, forend iron and trigger guard remains strong, well figured walnut stock, checkering is clean and sharp, checkering surround by engraved skeletonized buttplate remains clean and sharp, tiny stock chip at lower edge of lock plates where meeting action, small chip behind top tang.
