Overall excellent estate condition, beautifully browned nitro proofed damascus barrel, bores are shiny and clean, few light areas of pitting in bore towards muzzle, barrels ring with clear church bell tone, barrel to action it is tight, engraved action in good condition with sharp engraving, few small places around edges of lockplates show old pitting, rebounding hammers, nitre blued pins and triggers, stock and forend finish in healthy condition with light scattered field and handling marks throughout, checkering is clean and sharp, stock oval inlay is not engraved, stock drop points remain pronounced.
