Overall very good estate condition, barrel bluing in very nice condition with scattered field and handling marks, bores are shiny with light wad fouling, barrels ring with clear church bell tone, barrel to action fit is right, strong sidelock ejector action with double underbite and clipped fences, fully engraved coin patina action with gold washed cocking indicators and keyed sideplates, lightly figured stock has sharp and clear checkering and pronounced drop points, ending with a checkered butt.

Case: Overall very good estate condition, leather is clean with some scuffing throughout, red felt interior is clean, maker label present and securely affixed, accessories include cleaning rod, snap caps, oil bottle, brushes and jags in a leather case, combination is unset, barrel compartment has 2 in. of extra space to accommodate a longer barrel.
