Overall excellent estate condition, damascus barrel pattern is clearly visible throughout with exterior surfaces changing to a slight plumb hue compared to protected areas, barrel ring with clear church bell tone, bores are shiny with one tiny pitted spot well down the length of the left barrel at 7:00, barrel to action fit is tight, action engraving is clean, sharp, and undiminished with dog scenes on sides of action that fade a drinking stag on the trigger plate, minimal screw slot damage, some color casing colors remain on forend iron, stock finish is healthy, drop points are still articulate, connected wrist panel checkering is clean and tactile, forend checkering is sharp and clean with mullered borders, stock oval is a replacement of a different shape than factory, grip cap is clean and free of chips or cracking, recoil pad has some cracking on the sides and is firm.
