Overall very good estate condition, 1 of 242 made in this configuration, barrel bluing is strong, sheen is a hunter satin due to use, scattered light scratching and dings present on exterior, bores are shiny with small area of discoloration in the muzzles at the end, barrels ring clear with church bell tone, receiver has a bright coin patina with faint scratches and light oxidation in scattered locations, engraving remains clear, stock and forend finish has a softer satin sheen with checkering remaining clean and sharp indicating and likely refinish and recut checkering both of which were done with great skill, faint hairline crack behind right lock plate commonly found on older LC Smith guns, scattered small depressions in stock and forend
