Sir Peter Thomas Blake (Dartford, Kent, b. 1932) is a renowned British artist and an innovator in British Pop Art. He gained international fame for co-creating the iconic cover for The Beatles' album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, in 1967. He has since produced numerous works that blend popular culture with fine art, including collaborations with The Who, Oasis, and Eric Clapton.

The work offered here features a fictional female wrestler named Babe Rainbow, represented as a 23-year-old from New Cross, London. Commissioned by Dodo Designs, this print is notable because it is a screenprint on tin rather than paper.
