Meiji period (1868-1912), a silver box kobako or bonbonniere, a presentation box for sweets to commemorate a special occasion, with the emblem of Prince Chichibu who was born in 1902 and was the second son of Emperor Taisho, the underside with a jungin (pure silver) mark and maker's name Mitsukoshi.
