The Tiffany
Bamboo flatware pattern was designed in 1961 by Van Day Truex. The pattern won the International Design Award for silver in 1965. Truex was inspired by 19th century Chinoiserie decorations, but wanted to create something that would meld with both traditional and modern interiors. The present lot, executed in gold vermeil, elevates this already elegant and sophisticated design to the utmost height of Palm Beach chic!
Very good estate condition.
