Meiji period (1868-1912), a finely cast bronze censer with archaic decoration in low relief, the body is flanked by two dragon handles, each of the three elegant cabriole legs is topped with a lion mask head, the cover is topped with a bird perched on a tree limb, the interior well of the jar is cast with decoration.
