First published in 1856, Jones's manual presents examples of design from a variety of cultures and periods.

No longer bound, with the upper and lower boards separated, and lacking backstrip; not complete with many plates lacking and retaining only a small number of text leaves; wear to boards; leaves/plates lightly toned with occasional scattered foxing, edge wear, mild grime, and small stain.
