1959, cherry, curved crest rail with seven spindles, wedge shaped plank seat, turned splayed legs with stretcher support and foot support, unmarked, but together with a copy of the original order card and email correspondence to the Nakashima workshop.

Originally designed around 1950 for George's daughter, Mira, this chair came in dining table height and bar-height, as seen here. Mira Nakashima has successfully carried on her father's legacy in leading the American Studio Craft movement.
Old chew marks to the two stretcher rails; otherwise good condition.
