Joe Perry was a professional waterman who spent his entire life in Kitty Hawk. He carved several stands of decoys in the 1930's. His decoys have the forward crest on the heads like the John Austin birds but generally have longer bodies.
Combination of original and old gunning paint, working repair to the neck, age check down the back.
