The tag on the bottom indicated the decoy was once in the hunting rig of Walter Goodwin, Sr. (1880-1966).
Harris was the father of Alvin Harris. He was also the brother of Henry Harris who made the famous Calvin Gaskill rig of shorebirds.
Old gunning paint worn to bare wood in places, working repair to the right side of the neck.
