From the Personal Collection of Mr. Kroghie Andresen Charlotte, North Carolina Purchased from Carl Ross, the superintendent of the Currituck Shooting Club, on July 6, 1998.
The Burgess coots used at the Currituck Shooting Club has red glass eyes and chipped tails.They also had a light grey over paint, probably applied to cover the shiny black paint that Burgess used.
