Matching serial number of 32051 present on water table, barrels, forend iron and trigger guard, 30 in. damascus steel barrel with text of PATENT TREBLE WEDGE FAST present on engraved rib extension with engraving around breaches and a single bead, text of W.W. GREENER 68 HAY MARKET LONDEN. WINNER AT THE LONDON GUN TRIALS 1875, 1877, 1878 & 1879 present on matted top rib, engraved receiver with scalloped fences and GREENER cross-bolt third fastener, extractor, pigeons at rest and in flight engraved on sides of action, figured and checkered walnut stock with Prince of Wales grip and walnut splinter forend, stock oval, ebony heart and diamond inlays, checkered horn buttplate.

Overall very good estate condition, damascus barrel pattern is unique to W.W. GREENER and is referred to as SILVER STEEL, pattern is visible without high contrast, bores are shiny with rare scattered areas of faint pitting, barrel exterior shows rare and minimal field marks, engraving is refined precise, sculpted fences are engraved to look identical on each side while the left side houses the cross bolt third fastener, stock and finish are healthy with numerous marks from use and age, right side of horn buttplate has slightly lifted away from the stock, very fine checkering pattern on the stock and forend are clearly visible and largely tactile with scattered areas of more wear and dents in the checkering.
Case is canvas covered and quite worn with staining and damage to seams and stitching throughout, latch is not operational and handle is present but broken, straps are not present, original maker label is intact, and one accessory bore mop is present.
