A Pair of Chinese Sancai Glazed Foo Dogs

20th century, a pair of guardian foo lions seated on tiered pedestals, the male lion holds a ball under his front paw and the female lion holds a baby under her front paw, lush curly manes, tails and eyebrows in golden yellow, the body in emerald green, both with mouths slightly open, showing their sharp teeth, hollow to the underside, unmarked.
